Another complete year has passed without a single Tumblr post from me. embarrassing really. I do finally feel like I may have officially had about enough of Facebook though. after, what — 15 years? yeah, I might be here more often.

    I’ve decided to not remove or edit not even one single post. This blog is outdated and likely no longer a reflection of the 2021 GABBYiSACTiVE but that can be for you to decide 🙃

    so, quick review:

    It’s (February) 2021 now.

    I’m 41 years old now.

    I’ve been married for FOURTEEN YEARS now.

    My son, is 8 years old now.

    My cats, Tuki & CiCi are long deceased now but I have a new cat, Chloe. (same breed, shorter fur)

    Glad to be back! See ya around.

      Quick & Easy Pumpkin Bread

      This simple recipe’ll last you from the Autumn through the Winter. Give loaves as gifts to co-workers and neighbors. Play with the spices of this recipe until you get your perfect blend.
      Every persons taste is different and that is what makes the world go around, but there isn’t much that I donít like when it comes to the sweet things.
      Remember your ingredients should be at room temperature.

      1 2/3 cups all purpose flour
      1-½ teaspoons baking powder
      1 teaspoon baking powder
      1 teaspoon cinnamon
      half teaspoon salt
      2 large eggs slightly beaten
      1 ½ cups sugar 1 ½ cups canned solid pack pumpkin
      ½ cup vegetable oil

      (optional)
      1/3 cup each walnuts and raisins

      Preheat your oven to 350. Grease or parchment paper line a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.
      In a 5 quart mixing bowl combine the first 5 ingredients then add eggs, sugar, pumpkin, oil and mix until well combined then add your nuts and raisins and mix until smooth.
      Pour your mix into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 70 minutes or until a pick placed into the center comes out clean.
      Cool in pan on wire rack 10 minutes then remove from pan and continue to cool on same rack. perfect loaf of moist and delicious Pumpkin Bread!
